Ahmed obtained his Bachelor degree in physics at Mansoura University in Egypt and his Master degree in fusion plasma physics from the universities in Gent and Stuttgart. Since 2016 he pursues his PDEng at TU Eindhoven in the instrumentation program DTI. After his PDEng mini-project at TNO, he currently executes a year project at Technobis in Alkmaar.
