He is currently Director Corporate Strategy and Communication at Fugro NV. Prior to that he held positions in Fugro as Business Line Manager and Regional Manager, Rob also holds an MSc in Civil engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Rob Luijnenburg's career spans a period of almost forty years in the offshore survey and oil and gas business starting in the Hydrographic Office of the Royal Netherlands Navy, pipeline engineering with R.J. Brown and Ass. survey with NeSA, and in contracting with Van Oord.
