Arno NijhofArno started his career at the Municipality of Amsterdam to boost the Amsterdam startup ecosystem. He was in charge of helping big corporates to work closer together with startups. After the initial success of the program, TNW, one of the key players in the global startup ecosystem and located in Amsterdam, asked him to join and explore how the company could work closer together with the big companies. He started a new department called TNW X as a one-man-show but in a timeframe of 2 years, he was able to build out a fast-growing team of 20 people. Today, the team is making a global play helping governments to boost their local startup ecosystem and corporates to innovate even faster by working with startups.
