Dr. Gabriel Hospodar currently works as a Data Scientist and Service Innovation Architect at Philips, Netherlands. His activities include (big) data analytics research, service design, and concept business modelling for Healthcare, Well-being, and Smart Cities. Gabriel enjoys a spirit of entrepreneurship and leadership having led 1500+ international members in the global Philips networking community as a board member and treasurer. He often serves as an ambassador for international career events attracting top talents besides delivering company presentations.
Prior to joining Philips, Gabriel has also held several leadership positions during the university days in Rio de Janeiro such as class leader, treasurer, and graduation speaker. He has efficiently accomplished all his Engineering degrees before the expected time with very good results (PhD, KU Leuven, Belgium, 2013, in 80% of the expected time; MSc, COPPE, Brazil, 2009; in 50% of the expected time; BSc Cum Laude, UFRJ, Brazil, 2007, in 90% of the expected time).
