Thereafter he joined OctoPlus as Scientist/Project leader, working on formulation and process development of drug products. He went on to work for a number of other companies in different capacities, ranging from technical to managerial roles at Solvay (now Abbott), Nordic Pharma, Nanomi, Kinesis Pharma, and is now with Teva as Head of Technological and Scientific Affairs.
His department oversees the transfer and validation of manufacturing processes from R&D to commercial operations, and is pivotal in transition of the site from manufacture of standard injection to Teva Centre of Excellence for complex injections. In both regards both technical and project-related cooperation with R&D within and outside Holland plays a central role.
