Shortly after, she completed her PhD at TU Delft in the field of Geosciences and Remote Sensing. As Sylvie wanted to connect again with the world of Telecommunications, she joined TNO in 2013 as a Scientist Innovator in the department of Networks. She currently works on a broad range of projects, going from copper networks/ broadband access, media networking to defense projects. She is involved both as a project manager and project member. In that way, Sylvie feels that TNO offers the best environment for a PhD to comprise a research environment that is applied, with innovations that have a real impact on industry.
Sylvie Dijkstra-Soudarissanane
Sylvie Dijkstra-Soudarissanane has a background of Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering and Digital Communications. She studied in France and Sweden, where she obtained two MSc degrees specialized in the field of Telecommunications and Space Sciences.
